I would like the area with lots of tyres could be replaced with a wood fortress, like the Alamo. with lots of enterances and stuff!

Been thinking about the ravine section across /down from the (recently expanded) village..
The place has always been a sniper haven - and a wonderful thing it is - but since much more of the village is at their mercy it might be worth levelling the playing field a wee bit. But not too much!!
(The added village buildings in range of the other bank have of course forced sniping to be more of a 'feature' - that wasn't really such a dimension when dealing with the vil. before.)
I've a thought to give us ordinary (or newer) players a greater chance against the experienced tacticians that decent snipers invariably are..
-Some additonal areas of cover - on the village edge of the ravine might give a benefit to players headed in either direction.
-Also, a couple of fences (or strips with minimal shrub cover) on the 'opposite' bank would give folks a marginally greater chance to identify where the sniper is concealed.
What say you??
You have a pretty green hat..

SIGNPOSTS
Signs or signposts to show the way to mainbridge, village, scud etc. Just so new players can see where they need to go. For anyone it can be hard to find the way out as well, so if some markers were put on the trees in a line back toward the safe zone.
Regards, Patrick.

I would propose making some roof for the hooches, it was done for the tlsfx promotional video, atleast so that it aint too dark that there are injuries, but it looks so authentic!

Signposts on the paths sounds like a good idea to me. Once you've been there a day it's quite easy to find your way around but for the first few hours it can be very easy to get yourself turned around.

i like the signposts idea, especially if u put the terms on that everyone uses, that way if a new person like me get's told to go defend the scud or whatever, then we can look at the signs and go 'oooh, that's where they mean' i h8 signposts with proper names on that no-one uses, not much help >.>

aha, i have an idea, not to do with improving the actual skirmish site, more towards better services and making skirmishing more nejoyable fer new ppl how about a begginer's course thingy? teach us basics in gun maintanance, terms used (i keep on hearing about 'hop-ups',any care to explain what they are?) what to look for in a gun, clarify rules on UKARA etc i been looking and asking questions for a while now,and THINK i know alot, but i personally learn better from hand's on experiance, just thought this could help all the new ppl around an talking of hands on,i can finally go skirmishing!!

I've always wondered how an imitation airstrike would go down on site...

I would just like to add that we are fully insured, and any pyro used on site is theatrical pyro and used within manufacturers guidelines.

"You can have my gun when you pry it from my paranoid, mentally disturbed, physically-abusive, cold, dead hand."

True the mini pyros or fireworks would have to be placed so that players would be stepping on them as they went off. Though if a way to pull it off was found it would be an awesome sight to see and add much to what I hear is an awesome site.
